Founded in 2004, Non-Duality Press has become established as the leading publisher of contemporary literature on the subject
of non-duality.
Julian Noyce, was first drawn to the approach through the works of Jean Klein and Ramana Maharshi. As he
searched for more material he realised there was an unmet need for authentic
and accessible contemporary writing on the subject which led him to set up
Non-Duality Press.
Our ongoing aim is to make available the work of authors who have the inner
authority that comes from first-hand experience and who are outstanding
communicators with a characteristic and original flavour. Each author in his or
her unique way attempts to communicate the experience of awakening and the
expression of truth in precise but everyday, jargon-free language.
Why Non-Duality?
We may find ourselves asking, 'Why am I
here? What is life? Who am I?' Sooner or later any intelligent person asks
these questions. What you are looking for is what you already are, not what you
will become. What you already are is the answer and the source of the question.
In this lies its power of transformation. It is a present actual fact. Looking
to become something is completely conceptual, merely an idea. The seeker will
discover that he is what he seeks and that what he seeks is the source of the
inquiry.
Jean Klein - Who Am I?
We sell books and audio-visual material worldwide, mostly online, via this site and other sources, but we also supply bookshops, conferences and retreats. We ship to every continent (although no-one has yet ordered from Antarctica) and have licenced ‘our’ books to foreign language publishers – Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Finnish, Danish
Julian has been joined in the business by his wife, Catherine – whom you can see here on Conscious TV
We are unique in that we are a tiny, independent company with a worldwide reputation and readership and contacts throughout the USA, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
We operate on an ethical basis, working fairly with authors and customers. Questions of ethics and morals are debated by teachers and seekers, but whether or not there is a doer and whether or not there are any choices in life, we stick to our principles. We have a simple lifestyle, so that we can be generous as well as fair. We use good quality print on demand for most of our books, to avoid wasteful warehousing and pulping of excess stock. We do short high quality runs of hardbacks if appropriate.
We are developing our resources page because our responsibility is to do more than sell books. There are links to areas of interest for readers interested in non-duality and excerpts from published and unpublished material, including accounts of awakening from people who generally avoid publicity, but have agreed to share their experience.
We support charities, particularly SARA in Lanzarote http://saraprotectora.org/la-37/uk, Wiltshire Wildlife http://www.wiltshirewildlife.org/ and The Trussell Trust http://www.trusselltrust.org/
